Team / organisation unit description

The ITS Security & Risk Analyst ensures that information security of Oliver Wyman Group is continuously improved. This includes reviews and remediation of current security issues, reacting to new threats and providing recommendations to other IT and business teams. Candidates will have broad Information Security skills with a solid understanding of Access Management, Infrastructure Security, Application Security, Data Protection and experience working with a broader team on security products and services.

Tasks and activities

  • Protect company and clients’ sensitive data
  • Identify and remediate risks carried by new applications and suppliers
  • Manage existing and new vulnerabilities inside the company landscape
  • Work with business owners and IT leaders to resolve issues timely
  • React to new and emerging threats
  • Lead or participate in the development of security standards and procedures
  • Provide security consulting and technical assistance

Additional requirements (certifications, special knowledge, software etc.)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information security experience
  • A Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, MIS, business or equivalent experience is required.
  • An advanced degree (e.g. MBA with concentration in information systems) is a plus
  • Security Certification (e.g. CISSP) a plus
  • Programming skills (Python, Powershell) a major plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment and management, cyber security defenses, application security, threat and vulnerability management, encryption
  • Ability to weigh business risks and enforce information security measures
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills; ability to explain information security concepts to audiences outside of the field
  • Knowledge of Directory Services (LDAP, AD) and Internet/Intranet architecture
  • Ability to examine and improve organization's existing security risk assessment processes and procedures
