Team / organisation unit description

Tasks and activities

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting to Corporate Finance in accordance with finance calendar and other reporting requirements from Corporate Finance for the relevant entities.
  • Financial controlling of monthly figures before submitting to Corporate Finance
  • Weekly Cash Flow
  • Reconciliation of:
  • Fixed assets: Prepayments and other receivables Bank reconciliations Accruals and provisions Intercompany postings and reconciliation VAT, Intrastat, Financial statements, country-specific statistics and reporting
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects to improve processes defined by direct manager
  • To execute the Corporate Finance Strategy and roadmap.
  • To be a proactive business partner with forward-looking, timely, high-quality and value-adding financial support (Internal/Brands and Customers).
  • To operate to maximum efficiency, including the timely and accurate reporting.
  • To achieve the highest standards of accounting as well as reporting, including streamlining the monthly report of the company and improving data quality through identification of sources of error in the reporting (“one version of the truth”) Streamlining the annual report of the company – according to IFRS and Local Gap/Countries.
  • Utilizing systems and standardizing processes
  • Implementing backup plans for the tasks in the team

Additional requirements (certifications, special knowledge, software etc.)

  • Responsible for updating, preparing and reporting actual figures to Corporate Finance meeting deadlines in GL area of responsibility
  • Responsible for meeting external compliance and meeting external deadlines for VAT, statutory reporting etc.
  • Active participation in creating and implementing new ideas to improve processes.
  • Preparation of audit documentation in collaboration with other team members.
  • Follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
